meet pablo and dahlya! it was a lovely winter day for calgary, however a chilly day for photos! you kinda don’t realize how cold it can be until you’re out there for a while! so, thanks guys for putting up with the horrible gusts of wind and the lack of sun for the second half of the session! hopefully you’ll think it was worth it!

we’ve been home for about a week now and i can’t stop racking my brain (and the internet) — searching for a way that would allow us little old canadians to live there! hawaii. we’ve been a few times before and it is my favorite place on the planet. i love it. i’m convinced i belong there. unfortunately the states isn’t as welcoming as i’d like them to be. why does it have to be so hard?!! shooting weddings there would be a dream…..

so in the meantime, i started going through some pictures. of course, i lugged my camera there, and of course, i didn’t take enough pictures. but i’m putting a few faves together to share in the next little bit. for now, here’s a preview….

thanks for all the interest ladies! after the first couple of hours, i got an overwhelming response to the free sessions! so, my schedule is full and i won’t be accepting any more models/volunteers. sorry to those who really wanted to be included, but didn’t reach me in time, as it was first come – first serve.

however, i’ll be shooting the free sessions february 25th, creating the online gallery and then launching the boudoir marathon dates. so stay tuned for dates and an awesome discounted price!

i’ve decided to introduce a new division of ‘white dress photography’……’white dress boudoir!’ i’ve shot several boudoir sessions and absolutely LOVE them. women always enter the shoot shy, timid and feel they are doing this all for their significant other. however they exit the shoot, feeling confidant, beautiful and as though they received a gift for themselves, not just the man in their life!

so because i’ve enjoyed these kinds of shoots so much, i’ve decided to devote a little website space to this artform. however, because of the intimate nature of these photos, not everyone is comfortable having them showcased to the world. i get it.

so i’m looking for 3 or 4 volunteer/models who would love to have a free session! in exchange, i ask you allow me to post tasteful photos in a boudoir gallery on my website. if you or someone you know might be interested, please contact me!!

pass this on to new brides, as it makes a great wedding gift from bride to groom. or whomever…..

meet gabriel! he’s 3 yrs old (and 3 mths) now and ready for another round of photos! the last time i took his pics, was waaay back, when he was just little! so it was so much fun to do it again! we’ve had such a nice mild winter, that we felt it best to head outside! i won’t lie, it was chilly….but what a little trooper gabe was!! check out some faves!

meet little adelina marirosa! she’s 5 1/2 weeks old in these pics and cute as a button. we shot her mom and dad’s wedding a few years back! it’s so special to see couple’s lives evolve into a growing family and i’m thrilled i could witness this little sweetheart for myself. enjoy…
